Pattern Tracing workbook is an interesting one for helping young
children to learn to hold a pencil and trace. Learning through tracing various types of curves and shapes will create
reflex for better handwriting, be it English or other languages.
This workbook for children can be used irrespective of the medium of
education, as it is language-neutral. Phonics classes, phonics courses, phonics teachers / tutors can use it
as a ‘first stage’ tool to develop alphabet writing skills of children.
This workbook has been given free to underprivileged children at a
Mumbai school, Vaibhav Vidyalay. It is also to be used by Pratham Education Foundation, a leading NGO in
